Should clarify, America still manufactures a sizable amount of goods. I’m mainly referring to the role we used to play in manufacturing the stuff we’re tariffing (I.e. cloths, Furniture, Cars, metals, and electronics) but no longer manufacture on a major level.

America had also already undergone significant industrialization in the 1930’s.

America hasn’t been a major manufacturing giant for decades now, and attempts to force industrial foundation improvements quickly never ends pretty for the working class. Which is what this Administration is hoping for
