I agree.. the boss wouldn't be nearly that bad without the runback imo. But still, making you fight a few waves of annoying enemies before the boss was also not very fun

I really enjoyed Annihilation. It had some of the creepiest moments I've read. I also love stories that don't tell you all the answers, the mystery makes it more engaging
