Made this little surfing prototype as a little exercise in how to create and import Geometry sequences made in #Houdini to #Unity. It's made out of a mesh for the water and a pointcloud for the white water / foam.

With this package, you can play back:

- Pointcloud sequences
- Mesh sequences
- Mesh sequences with per frame textures

in the Unity game engine with high performance.

A very large pointcloud volumetric video (45M points per second) running very smoothly on Unity inside the Apple Vision Pro. Impressive performance for a standalone device!

This is a sequence we recorded ourselves from a real surgical intervention.

Finally got animated Point cloud sequences working in #Unity for the Apple Vision Pro, even in shared spaces!

The AVP is a challenging system, but when it does work, it almost feels as if you could touch the point cloud
