Unlike many many other languages (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...)
English writing has never been standardized, so feel free to spell things any way you want, maybe it will catch on.

Yes, I agree, I think all the new hardware is a Steam Deck in different form factors.

I was lucky enough to be at the Steam Dev Days when they tried this the first time. Like every other attendee I got given one and a pre-production controller. I was very excited, until I turned it on for the first time. It was louder than any vacuum cleaner, so I re-gifted it...

Right, so branchless as in how the source code looks, not actually executing branchlessly.
I can see the appeal, I sometimes use && or || instead of ifs for a sequence of instructions that depend on the previous one's outcome.

When the use of the ternary operator generates branchless code (which isn't guaranteed), wouldn't a good old if / else do the same?

Depends on what exactly is meant by "left" and "right", as those terms are quite overloaded with meanings.
Going back to the origin, where the monarchists were right and those demanding equal rights were left, there is little room for a center.
Maybe in constitutional monarchies that nobody likes ;)

I've never understood what "centrist" is even supposed to to be. Either you believe in equal rights or you don't, I don't see a middle ground.
