The clocks went forward in order to make use of daylight hours. If they remain an hour ahead this affects kids in Scotland going to and from school in the winter time. It would mean going to school and coming home from school in the dark.

Hi Matt. The clocks are changed twice a year. In the Spring and in the Autumn, hence the saying spring forward, fall back in reference to what you do and when you adjust the clocks. The kids in Scotland is a long standing reason why we change the clocks in the UK.

It's important in Scotland as it's the difference between our kids going to school in the dark or not.
