To clarify I’ve experienced this with both male and female doctors, women are not automatically empathetic and suffer the same poor training as the men #medicalmysogeny

From my first smear at 20 performed by my male gp with male students observing, dismissed symptoms of ovarian cysts, over prescription of oestrogen w/o progesterone, womb biopsy w/o pain relief & numerous other procedures that you’re expected to just endure the #medicalmysogeny is endless
