Alright, this year there were a lot of excellent films. I watched 30 films that released in 2024 alone. These are my top 10. Special shout out to horror films, which had an absolutely incredible year full of exciting terror. #top10films

Time for the first ever Rat Master©️ BlueSky Game Awards. There were a lot of great games. I also did not play a lot of other great games. These are the top 10 games I personally played. It was a great year for gaming and I’m excited for what 2025 has to bring. Here are my top 10 2024 games:

#1 The Tortured Poets Department (Anthology) by Taylor Swift. Absolutely incredible. The anthology edition contains 31 brand new tracks. It’s like listening to poetry. The more I listened to this album front to back, the more I fell in love with it. The lyrics, the beats, the songs; perfection.

#2 Brat by Charli XCX. When I got ghosted and blindsided my buddy said to listen to this album. So I did. And man, the more you listen to this album, the better it gets. Not only that, but playing it on loop never gets tiring. Just FRESH beats and unique tracks makes for an unforgettable album.

#3 Eternal Sunshine - Ariana Grande. I’ll admit, I was late to the party on this one. Ariana’s return to music is so damn catchy. Her new music is infused with some groovy tunes and sounds and as always, her voice is so impressive to hear. Absolutely repeated the shit out of this album. Great one.

#4 Short N Sweet - Sabrina Carpenter. This is a great new album by Sabrina. It ended the summer nicely. Love the direction of the album and the more ‘country’? Vibes it gives off. I think I prefer her last album more, but this album still contains some absolute bangers that I keep humming.

#5 - Radical Optimism by Dua Lipa. I feel like I’m the only one talking about this album. Is it as good as Future Nostalgia? Not really. But damn there are some great hits in this album and Dua continues with her signature style of music. There’s some truly unique tracks on here and I’m all for it.

Honourable Mention: From Zero - Linkin Park. All the singles were the best tracks to this album. I’m absolutely in love with the new direction and it’s the start of a promising return. There were a couple non single tracks I loved, and it’s still very much LINKIN PARK through and through. Loved it.

After being recommended by my buddy, I finally gave this film a watch. Going in knowing nothing, I found myself moved by this film. There’s something about the film itself, the way it’s shot, the scenery, and the writing that really makes it shine. +it’s filmed in 🇨🇦 and it has Coeur de Pirate.

Tried this absolute gem of a game made by some great devs. Supervive is like a moba battle royal with a jump button, and it was absolutely charming and wonderful to play. Thanks @smoresandoreos.bsky.social for the recommend. Big thumbs up. Play this game. You’re going to love it.
