Looks like a week until proper winter arrives. One wheel rejected the Ice Spiker so hard it flung a lever across the garage and left shrapnel. Second Ice Spiker fell on without tools. #yycbike

Anyone wondering if a waxed chain works in winter? Zero grunge on drivetrain or bike all winter, definitely less wear. Same time spent on drivetrain maintenance/cleaning as regular lube, but the level of clean you achieve is worlds better. This is a 2 winter cassette. #yycbike

The winter trails in Fish Creek Park are a hoot if you can get there. Definitely a day for fat bikes or plus size tires. Lots of sidewalk riding heading home to avoid filthy roads. #yycbike

It's not bad to be actively gardening in March. Self seeded lettuce, spinach, arugula and others are springing up. We will be snacking on it to see what it is before April.

We are handing out fresh bread from our wood fired oven to the neighbours, chatting, while cooking Tuscan soup over a fire. Sticking together as a country starts in the neighbourhood. #elbowsup

Hey #yycbike, this mint BC made/assembled trike ( etrikescanada.com) is in Creston but could easily be brought to Calgary. Perfect for an active senior - was ridden by a charming 90 year old family friend. Highly adjustable, stable, very solid, brand name components. Not cheap - $4950 today.
