I think you are missing a key point. It is not immigration but who is immigrating that is the source of fear and hatred. The fight is against bigotry and xenophobia. Not one republican will have an issue if white Europeans come into the country in the millions.

Could it also be misuse of public funds by governments at every level? Taxes should only go up if the governments are a well oiled machine working to uplift all Canadians.
