We're here to rate your pies and pints.

No time for stews with hats.

Sheperds/Cottage/Fish grudgingly accepted.
Jaunty pie on its little mash pillow. Point deduction for only having gravy and mash and no greens, but overall a good effort. 6/10.

Much as I support a Play, a Pie and a Pint this confuses me. Is it cheese? Why is it on the outside? Where is the gravy? (Where is the pint???)

2/10 until clarity is achieved.

Well that's a nice crust, your holy trinity looks a bit weak on the green side but I'll let it pass because there's plenty of gravy. 7/10.

Also, use a beer mat, you weren't brought up in a midden were you?

Good lord that looks interesting. Can't really see any condiments and sides but the horns alone are worth at least a 5... maybe a 6. Would like to see inside.

Oh lovely. Triple that of mash, greens and gravy. Sadly because you haven't cracked it open I'd struggle to give you a high-mark. 7/10.

That looks good, nice crust. I like the little sticker. Need to see inside for higher score. 7/10.

Be still my beating heart! What a magnificent offering. That chonk of pie, the holy trinity with an absolutely perfect amount of gravy. No pint though... still its a strong contender! 9/10.

Worth it. You've got the trinity, veg mash and gravy - good. I like the delicate placement of the pie like a spaceship hanging above a cloud. The crumbled top looks good but... oh dear someone's put bits of hedge on your plate! 8/10.

You might have been a 10 if you show the inside of the pie. Next time.

Simple. Efficient. Understated. No frills, paper plate, jobs a good'un.
7/10.

Well it's Pieminster so it's going to be decent. Got the Holy trinity there, mash, mush and gravy - plated beautifully. I must say the lighting is worthy of Wright of Derby - exquisite. Points lost for Merlot - unless it was a pint of it. 8/10.

Oh what a shame, I'm awfully sorry to put you to so much trouble. 😋🥧🍽

You've done a good job laddie. Would like to see the interior. I don't know if Rabbie Burns ever did an ode to a pie but well-worthy are ye o'a grace as lang's my arm. 7/10.

Looks like it happened. Difficult for me to rate a nearly empty plate. What's wrong with the 🥕 eh?
October 9, 2025 at 7:04 AM
Righty ho... well you've got the trinity, veg, mash and gravy - excellent work on the pooling - looks good. Lovely dimpled glass - I can tell you're enjoying the brew. Top work. 8/10

Well that's deffo a pint in the background but... it looks like someone's put wood chippings on your pie!
October 6, 2025 at 2:39 PM
How do you stop them hopping around your table and knocking over your pint?
October 6, 2025 at 2:37 PM
You had me at pie & pint.
October 6, 2025 at 2:36 PM
Were the imaginary chips good? Did they have hallucination gravy or made-up mushy peas?
September 23, 2025 at 9:20 PM
Hmm... pie looks decent but lager looks naff... can't score plastic. Not your fault but still gotta be a 6/10.
September 23, 2025 at 9:19 PM
Good looking pie and pint. Solid 7 by itself but... what is this? A trio of mustards? My my... I think this is worth at least an 8.

Loverly.

Excellent looking pie sir, holy trinity present and the pint looks delightful too. I can almost taste this. 8/10 - would need to see the inside to score higher.
