I would normally be a labour voter but definitely Lib Dem or Green for me from here.

I'm shocked Labour have gone this way and am terrified if Reform get power. Sickened about what's happening in the UK.

Thank you. I'm almost too scared to check the details.

I'm a life long labour supporter but I'm worried. My wife was part of the Boris wave, granted pre settled status before the end of 2020 deadline. All done correctly. I expected no issue at least while labour were in power. Now I'm worried. I can't support anyone who puts our position at risk.

Absolutely. Trying to not let all this get me down but it's difficult. Still a long way to go yet though. Farage has a history of falling out with people. Fingers crossed.

And Farage's coordinated attack too. Free press is the last thing they want. I detest those people.

Haha. One must have a little reward every once in a while. Fortunately dentistry has been just repairing old work recently. Thank goodness for the NHS keeping the price down to just a few pounds too.

How are you? Still travelling around or have you set down roots now?

We went out (intentionally arranged). Then switched the lights off when we got back. All over for another year now though.

It's an odd feeling. I have an unusual surname so I know alim probably related to any other Tyers I meet. But to see her family tree, and see my grandad on there was still a little exciting. Our last common ancestor was born in 1796 but the generations have held and we're only 9 years apart in age.

I once read someone suggesting it will be the Conservatives that will take us back in. I couldn't see that but maybe in the future. Who knows.
