Zeon (or equivalent) suits nearly always look so much cooler.
I do like this fella, though. Armor design always reminds me of Cyborg 009. Swear I've seen a version with the gold breastplate vents but circular.
Guncannon from the original Mobile Suit Gundam series: giant, humanoid, mechsuit clad mostly in chunky, angular, red, armor, except for segmented gray plating--at the shoulders, just above the elbows, the hands, and big, chunky, feet like thick-soled boots. There are also bright yellow accents: the louvered vents on the breastplate and an oval near the waist, which, along with the red armor that kind-of looks like heavy winter gear, remind me of the jackets and outfits worn by characters in Cyborg 009. Oh, also, this suit's called Guncannon because it has a huge, lever-articulated, laser cannon mounted over each side, between the shoulders and neck. Its head resembles a white, spacy-looking, motocross helmet--the kind with an elaborate guard for the nose and lower facial region--with a blue-green visor, a lot like a more enclosed version of the helmets worn by mobile suit pilots, and very similar to the GM suits, the grunts of the Federation's mobile suit arsenal.

SEQUENCE BREAK. This one was mostly cool. Cooler if there had been more than one woman onscreen who wasn't also (SPOILERS about supernatural elements), but it's a small cast operating on a handful of locations.

It's good. It's also Japanese. The "Vermont" thing is weird, but there is a clear origin. Also, origins of curry in Japan may have come from emulating the diet of the English Navy. Cultural exchange can be complicated, problematic, and also make a certain amount of sense. Everyone, please calm down.

This is the first non-Weird-Al album I bought and really got into, after a friend played a few tracks for me, the first band I enjoyed that felt like mine and not something I grew up liking as a kid because my parents liked it. Always reminds me of my first comics convention trip with my Dad, too.
