I swear that this blog won't just be me venting about petty grievances about myself and my life. So here's something good that happened today: I really like the scrunchies I bought, they're easier for me to tie than standard hair ties and they're cute. Looking forward to growing my hair out more.

Just gotta focus on the good parts and keep pushing past the bad parts. Eventually I'll hit my goals, even if it takes another year.

And I am making consistent progress on my lower body routine, it's just my upper body routine that's stalling out. I guess I could try to talk to a fitness instructor/coach/whatever, but both my particular physical limitations and my wallet make that impractical or difficult.

Just have to keep telling myself positive affirmations - "It's a marathon, not a sprint!", "You've already made so much progress!", "You've only been doing this regularly for less than a year!", etc.

I also started transitioning this week - came out to my family, started buying clothes and doing voice training, and with any luck will start HRT in a few days - and having something like that to focus on has been keeping me sane in the face of all this
