Last week I had the great pleasure of presenting my work on historical epidemiology and mortality in 19th century Denmark at the conference organized by the PandemiX Center.

Absolutely amazing to be able to present at the beautiful setting of The Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters!

The inaugural IMMIDD symposium is now also open for online participants! We're pleased that many have already signed up and we’re looking forward to welcoming both in-person and online participants on July 10th. 🙂

Here's a quick recap of day 1 of the #MONID2025 conference yesterday. The day was filled with talks, elevator pitches, poster tours, and a highly entertaining science slam followed by a lovely get-together.

Day 2 of #MONID2025 was also a success! Today we were involved in a symposium on contacts and chairing sessions.

Reading the news can be a bit depressing these days, so I appreciate Danish news broadcaster DR reporting some important breaking news from the world of mathematics: "100,980,000,000 is a wild number" 😄
