Who said anything about it being for everyone? I know people who LOVED Hollow Knight but ran into a difficulty cliff and had to give up. Everything else in the game was clearly for them. I also know people who tried it many times but didn't enjoy any of it. Not the same. First group misses out.

There's probably millions of people who don't enjoy harsh difficulties but would love everything else in both Silksong and HK. But they'll miss out, and that's a shame.
