For the last like 20 years for me email has basically been more about arbitrage than communication. I know you don't read this shit but I know that if it's written down you can get in trouble for ignoring this shit.

Man, when I first got on the internet in the 90's I was writing like a 19th century gentleman with paragraph structure and depth and thoughts. Not a single motherfucker ever read any of it. Then I sent like a three line email. Still nothing. Completely stopped caring after that.

What's truly miserable is how the conspiracy community will pretty much ignore all this because it simply isn't as *fun* as looking for secret lizard people that don't exist.

Hi there! I'm a local and our neighboring town was also subject to surprise police checkpoints this weekend disguised as a public outreach program. Several of us have banded together to try and get some accountability from the town and county government. If you'd like to know more, please reach out.

Digging further into the first figure, the study it comes from also points out that there may not yet be enough data to determine if EVs really are less likely to catch fire than Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles (ICEVs). They do point out that EV fires burn hotter and require more water.

So the two figures presented don't actually add up. The first chart was "fires per 100k vehicles sold" (no time index provided) and then we get 28,402 gas engine fires in a parking lot for 2022. Sounds like a lot! Until you see that there are 265 MILLION gas vehicles in the US.
That's .01%
