I post on an internet forum.
There is a direct historical correlation between Man Utd’s form and the UK political landscape.

1968: European Cup 🤝 Economic Boom
1974: Relegation 🤝 The 3-Day Week
1999: The Treble 🤝 Cool Britannia
2013–Now: Post-Fergie Chaos 🤝 Political chaos.

The country needs United to become good again.

That was the most amazing finish to a football match I’ve seen since Sunday. Well in Scotland.

The BBC is a disgrace—peddling a fake documentary to smear Thailand and its amazing people. Zara McDermott has destroyed her own career. #DefundBBC

Qatar Airways are without a doubt the worst airline I've ever dealt with. I've had better service from Ryanair.

The way Thai women areportrayed in Western media is incredibly backwards and racist. In terms of character, the strongest, most resilient women I've met in life have all been Southeast Asian, including Thai women.

People who say they can’t hear a difference between hi-fi/lossless audio and 320 are kidding themselves or deaf. Tried Spotify on a free trial after a year of lossless — the drop in quality is huge. Take me back to lossless, ASAP.

The use of terms such as 'Islamaphobia' or to label someone as 'Islamaphobic' is intended to stifle debate and inspection. However, we've now reached point where you're branded Islamaphobic for disagreeing with preposterous idea that Mohammed split the moon and rode to heaven on a winged horse.

Why settle for a failing pension system? An ambitious UK government should look at the Singapore CPF model. It offers not just a fairer deal for workers, but a way to turn national savings into national power, providing capital for big projects that define a nation's future. It's time for a change.

I’ve just come back from Poland and Hungary, and I honestly felt safer walking around at 2am there than I do in broad daylight in some parts of the UK. When I lived in Beijing, people would nap in parks with their bags unattended.

I've been reviewing the evidence and I have to say that the blame for the current situation lies 95% with the French and 5% with the Cambodians.

Female sex tourism is more insidious than male sex tourism. While male sex tourism is rightly condemned, female sex tourism is often romanticised, masking the deep power imbalances and colonial dynamics at play. Exploitation is exploitation, regardless of gender or narrative. It needs calling out.

There really can be no doubt now, Israel is the biggest obstacle to peace in the Middle East.

Mad that it's cheaper to fly to Budapest and have a weekend here than it is to go from the Midlands to London and have a weekend there. Even when flights are booked last minute.

Not been in Budapest since 2013. It's good to be back, and back as someone who isn't a skint student interrailing and staying in hostels.

Fifty years after my Dad first saw them, I too had the incredible fortune of watching the original Black Sabbath perform. It's an amazing feeling to share that experience with him across the decades. Villa Park was magic.

Watching this moment live at Villa Park yesterday will live with me forever. It was one of those moments when I completely lost my shit.

It's popular to hate on Britain, but ultimately, our positive contributions to the world outweigh the negatives. We gave the world democracy, industrialisation, the English language, football, and proper music.

The US bombing Iran and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine aren’t isolated crises — they’re fractures in the Westphalian order. Sovereignty is optional. Power overrules law. The 1648 dream of mutual respect among nations is fading. We’re drifting back into brute-force geopolitics. Dangerous times.

Last night’s U.S. bombing of Iran proves it: “The US bombs, China builds.” While America spreads chaos, China builds futures. One destroys, the other develops — and I’d back builders any day. If the UK government had any sense, it’d see which way the wind is blowing.
