It looked (and sounded) like it - and you mentioned "innovation" soo ... kind of had to.
I literally love it in Gmail, but some people don't (why.).
Is there any difference to what Google did? Is it working fully on device? Grouping difference?
Zero Inbox?

I don't really use RSS, otherwise I probably would've done it already

I saw that with my last release and I didn't need it.
Upload it as Beta(? Has two similar ~channels), release that - then publish to Prod(? forgot the name) channel

We say "JavaScript" and mean the open source(?) programming language that Oracle never touched (?).

You warned people about it, they had time to fix it, now you can break it.
(Interestingly I use default values as-is if I don't care and set them (even) with the default value if I do care. So their fault not using defaults "correctly"? 🤪)

(What is "gcTime" supposed to mean? Garbage Collect? Why not "dispose"/"free"/"clear"?)

1. You buy a device that can record things.
2. You activate a feature, because you want to use it. It needs to record things wo work.
3. Every time your mic is being used you get a little (green) popup
You don't want it to record things?
Or not to store things "permanently"?

It asks if you want and tells you what hotword triggers it if activated.
Or do you mean that Siri doesn't chime if the hotword was recognized? (Google has a chime like that, but you can disable it)

IF that is true, there are legit reasons to settle it like this.
What is "eavesdrop"? Isn't it literally "eavesdropping" to listen to the hotword alone?
Maybe the NSA/FBI used recordings?
Maybe they themselves parsed it to improve their (bad) service?

I don't need to rely on that information.
Most publicly "smart" people do that too.
It annoys me, because people trust them [missing disclaimer] – but not LLMs (yet).
