Try fiber - from veggies 🙈

I was genuinely not sure.
It looked (and sounded) like it - and you mentioned "innovation" soo ... kind of had to.

I literally love it in Gmail, but some people don't (why.).

Is there any difference to what Google did? Is it working fully on device? Grouping difference?
Zero Inbox?

Great to see, but isn't this what GMail added like 5-10 years ago? (after "Inbox" died, which had this too)

Leider ist die Zeit zu den Wahlen nicht mehr allzu weit. Er muss sich also anstrengen 🥰

Whoever learns it, should use the new way, but will encounter the old way
→ new with note of old way

Well, they all do suck ...

I don't really use RSS, otherwise I probably would've done it already
January 24, 2025 at 12:30 AM
Pretty sure you don't need that.
I saw that with my last release and I didn't need it.
Upload it as Beta(? Has two similar ~channels), release that - then publish to Prod(? forgot the name) channel

Might just need more tension (more kneading and folding it in on itself more) and maybe the yeast wasn't ready yet

Google once almost lost their ~rights to the word "google", because "googling" was(/is) the word for searching on the Internet. No matter if it was Google Search or not.
We say "JavaScript" and mean the open source(?) programming language that Oracle never touched (?).
January 8, 2025 at 11:49 PM
That doesn't 100% fix the discussed "problem", but if you pair it with actual improvement (in that major version bump), they'll do their search and replace
January 7, 2025 at 7:38 PM
defer a breaking change until a major version bump.

You warned people about it, they had time to fix it, now you can break it.

(Interestingly I use default values as-is if I don't care and set them (even) with the default value if I do care. So their fault not using defaults "correctly"? 🤪)

whoops, kinda meant the other way around

function gcTime(args){
cacheTime(args);
}

/**
* @deprecated use gcTime(args)
*/
function cacheTime(args){
// ...
}

?
(What is "gcTime" supposed to mean? Garbage Collect? Why not "dispose"/"free"/"clear"?)

I don't get it?

1. You buy a device that can record things.
2. You activate a feature, because you want to use it. It needs to record things wo work.
3. Every time your mic is being used you get a little (green) popup

You don't want it to record things?
Or not to store things "permanently"?
January 3, 2025 at 10:28 PM
Afaik it's not enforced though?
It asks if you want and tells you what hotword triggers it if activated.

Or do you mean that Siri doesn't chime if the hotword was recognized? (Google has a chime like that, but you can disable it)
January 3, 2025 at 6:55 AM
What kind of domain is that?

IF that is true, there are legit reasons to settle it like this.
What is "eavesdrop"? Isn't it literally "eavesdropping" to listen to the hotword alone?
Maybe the NSA/FBI used recordings?
Maybe they themselves parsed it to improve their (bad) service?

I want to "talk to a liar" that knows everything (written) at a pretty decent level and sometimes "lies" or confuses things.

I don't need to rely on that information.

Most publicly "smart" people do that too.
It annoys me, because people trust them [missing disclaimer] – but not LLMs (yet).
