Assuming you receive pay rises during the freeze and that the rise is enough to put a portion of your salary into a higher bracket. And lots of 'business leaders' are already saying they can't pay minimum wage, etc, so pay increases aren't guaranteed.

And when labour took office in 2024 the media shat it's pants because the two child cap remained in place. Now it's soiled itself because it's removed. According to the mail, express etc, these kids will get a free house, Rolls Royce and a million quid every week paid for by 'hard working families'

In my 40 year career as I earned more I moved into higher tax thresholds and paid more tax. I didn't expect that threshold to keep rising so that I continued to pay a smaller amount of tax. If you want public services you have to pay tax. If you're lucky enough to earn a lot, you pay more tax.
