even though its script was translated in 2004, mm would only see a full english patch in 2022, mostly due to the slow development of the wonderswan romhacking scene. although it’s not a story-heavy game, the patch is absolutely recommended if you can’t speak japanese. tinyurl.com/rh94znet

an interesting thing about the wonderswan is that it was designed to allow both screen orientations, and klonoa is actually both. some of the levels require you to rotate the console to better accommodate their more vertical design.

it was only released on the wonderswan, a nifty little handheld that never left japan. even though it’s the predecessor to the GBA games, moonlight museum is set in the mainline continuity; a gaiden of sorts. i could say how it fits in, but it would be a huge spoiler for door to phantomile lol

this game isnt that obscure, but i had to do something for #klonoa’s anniversary :)
moonlight museum is probably the least played klonoa game, which is a shame – it’s quite good fun, and certainly better than beach volleyball.
