Fully agree, this sucks and is terrifying. I just hope the fact that it’s also ineffectual will help ease a bit of tension.

On the upshot, this is such a pittance that there’s no possible way it will sway any opinions. This won’t even scratch the surface of the paycheck loss they’re looking at in the shutdown.
