I started a new dynasty and decided to force the exact same results as this seasons real games.

Here is CFP Bracket.

The more I go over this film the more I realize the OL was quite bad in pass pro and it's quite amazing Lagway didn't get further injured or throw any interceptions that gave LSU more life. With time, DJ can potentially step in and throw to the yellow target who has momentum and space to convert.

OL breaks down again. You can see the obvious two WRs underneath to his right that are wide open.

I think this is another misread. It was a completion and I doubt the yellow target gets further then him going to the solo WR up high. But he immediately looked that way despite having the bunched WR group to his right. You got LSU playing off and if he steps up and throws this, bigger gain likely.

This play was a poor execution by Lagway.

He holds onto the ball too long and throws a rushed pass to 24 in the red. But he clearly has yellow open. And if he throws the ball on that line, to the outside shoulder, it takes away the closest defenders ability to jump the throw.

17 at the top has space. Safety bails deep. Corner nearest to him is glued to the outside receiver that you don't see. Lagway makes the right choice ultimately. But again, this thread isn't a criticism of Lagway, it's just to show Gator fans that Napiers offense does get guys open.

If the OL can hold up here, the yellow target has enough space around him that Lagway can step up and hit him with a throw vs the zone. Lagway just doesn't see him as he breaks the pocket going to his right and misses high towards the sideline.

Here he has 3 guys open. He throws to the red target, it's just high. He also has the orange target as an easy 6+ yard gain. Hanson, the yellow target, splits defenders. He has a safety over him, but if the ball is thrown between the hashes, potential catch.

First TD play you get 2 guys open here. It's man across the board and the slot receiver smokes the safety. This had TD written all over it.

You would think LAgway would go to the very open underneath man but chooses the deep option and nails it.

But on over 50% of dropbacks, you have situations like this where there are open guys. And oftentimes, and something Lagway has to work on, he chooses the tightly covered over the open man

This chart shows his performance, average wise, vs the 3 toughest ranked passing defenses he has played this year vs everyone else.

For context, a drop to 139.72 would put him 54th in the country in that category. Not horrible. But also a solid drop from 26th.
