I still can't get over this one shot of Finn's beard in the most recent Fionna and Cake episode.

Google and apple's logos used to make sense, Google's being a Polaroid photo of a pinwheel, apple's was a photo of a sunflower. Both got abstracted and simplified until they no longer carry any of that

How to geek's cookie consent page, it gives the options "accept all & continue" and "pay to reject" BBC Good Food's cookie consent popup, giving the options "reject & pay" and "accept all & continue"

Haven't tried it myself but this option might be what you're looking for. The cache segment lets you set a start frame for the simulation.

That headline really puts it lightly, "nearly crushed on set" makes it sound like a near miss.
In reality: multiple life altering injuries and months of physical therapy, and all he got for it was some gift cards.

"I don't want to die," a witness recalled him saying. Sam didn't know it at the time, but workers had been disassembling the tower above him, and a dislodged section had fallen and sliced his left shoulder. He spent eight days in the hospital, where doctors removed his spleen and performed reconstructive surgery on his shoulder. He suffered a lung contusion, a hemothorax, and damage to his ribs, scapula, spine, and clavicle, medical records show. He said that it took months of physical therapy to regain use of his arm and that his surgeon said he couldn't return to work until spring at the earliest. An executive producer visited him in the hospital and provided an envelope containing DoorDash and Uber gift cards totaling roughly $1,000, he said. A person close to the production said that it was something he'd asked for and that he was repeatedly offered other forms of support. Sam said he didn't remember asking for the gift cards and was underwhelmed. "Accidents on sets happen, but this one seemed preventable," he told Business Insider in an interview. He requested Business Insider use only his first name to protect his identity, which is known to BI.

Wanted to have a go at putting together a vaguely coherent #DonkeyKong and #Mario timeline with the loose info the games have given us.

Spoiler warning for DK Bananza
A Donkey Kong Timeline It starts with the arcade era where the original DK who would later become Cranky Kong kidnaps Lady (Pauline's grandma), who is saved by Jumpman The games assigned to this era are DK (arcade) DK Junior and DK3 Next is Kongs vs Kremlings era, where the modern DK is introduced alongside the rest of the DK Crew and their primary threat is the Kremling Krew This era's games are DK Country 1, 2 and 3, DK 64, DK King of Swing and DK jungle climber. After these games, King K. Rool discovers the underground world and gets trapped there alongside the rest of the Kremling Krew Next is the post kremling era, showing the DK Crew's adventures after the Kremling's disappearence. This era's games are Jungle Beat, DK Country Returns and Tropical Freeze Next up is DK Bananza where DK meets a 13 year old Pauline, and releases the Kremling Krew Alongside the DK timeline is the startof the Mario timeline ~13 years before Bananza, starting with Yoshi's Island and it's 3DS sequel, then the past of Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time The 2 timelines meet with Mario Vs. DK where after an initial conflict, the pair make amends Next up are the 2 DS Mario Vs. DK games, where DK kidnaps Pauline after Mario upsets him This is followed up by the 3DS entries into the series where Mario, DK and Pauline have all made amends and are friends once again The timeline ends with Mario Odyssey Alongside the timeline, 2 games have separate entries Yoshi's island DS is disconected as it does not fit the timeline DK '94 for the Gameboy is also seperated Hard to fit into post Bananza canon My personal theory is that it's a SMB 3 situation. Super Mario Bros 3 was an in-universe stage production, perhaps DK '94 is an in-universe adaptation of Pauline's grandma's run in with Cranky Kong. Perhaps an in-universe movie? Pauline is already a celebrity, her being an actor as well as a singer wouldn't be that surpring.Perhaps fits in somewhere around/after tipping stars.
