This is just as expected. Any claim that there is a reason to seriously believe such a plan is coming would be incredible.

I'm going to see Bob Dylan in Hershey, PA in a couple of weeks. Never saw him live before. He's 84. Also, Willie Nelson will be performing too. He's 92. Regardless of either of their ages,I'm looking forward to what I expect will be great performances.

But improving govt efficiency is the pretense for what Trump and Elon are doing, not the purpose. I would suggest the purpose is to break the functioning of critical govt agencies and then "fix" the damage they caused by assigning those functions to their own companies, at taxpayers' expense.

Apparently the plan is for Musk and Trump soon to outsource all functions performed by state agencies to to their own companies, at taxpayer cost. Ever get the feeling you're being cheated?

People need to see that their representatives in government will stand up for them with courage and bravery. Welch and anyone making statements like that show only their capitulation and obsequiousness. Hardly heroic or praiseworthy.
