Last night was the first time in a while that I have had a chance to run an RPG.
I have dubbed 2025 as The Year of the Pike & the Shot. I am going to devote most of my hobby time this year to 16th & 17th century warfare (and fantasy worlds inspired by that time).
My first big project will be By Fire & Sword 2nd edition which I just received via Kickstarter a few months ago.

My daughter asked to play Crokinole last night before bed. This was the first time I have played a game with her and she actually tried to get the rules right. So I am having a bit of a proud dad moment now.

Played mission 1 of The Long Road by Flying Pig Games today. Soviet forces were able to break a small number of units through NATO lines but suffered substantial losses resulting in a slight NATO victory.
Had a ton of fun with this one looking forward to mission 2.
