Blue Dice
So simple yet so detailed ✨
I made this dice for a recent video tutorial about color profile baking out of Octane for C4D and decided to give it the turntable treatment ☺️

Aaaand my #BCON25 #b3d talk is already online!
It was (and is) an amazing experience.

Thank you so much @blender.org OTOY Render-Nnetwork and of course the amazing audience for having me 🥰

Hopefully you can take something away from it 🧑‍🎓

Got to meet Jules Urbach from Otoy again after a long time ✨
September 18, 2025 at 11:12 AM
Hey everyone.

Otoy's Render Network invited me to hold a Talk at Blender Conference 2025.

If you love keyboards, raytracing and have sympathy for a blender noob finding his way through the software, then this might be something for you ⌨️✨

I was asked by a community member how I would do a beer bottle setup to help him with a scene. So I thought I would create a scene for him and then also share it here.
Win Win if you ask me.

This scene it straight out of the render. No comp.

Here's a render I made of the final Watch CAD asset in #c4d and #octane from our current #plasticity video series.

Shading will beging in the next tutorial
April 7, 2025 at 1:56 PM
I got around modeling the wrist-band (sds) as well as shading the watch model I created in my last two plasticity tutorials.

So you can see how the model can look like shaded (Which we will be probably doing (shading) in the last two sessions) The next will be CAD export.

Aaaand one last time the RaspberryPi (for now)
This time the marvelous back side in all it's capacity... capacitory goodness... with a lot of capacitors!

Took me quite some time arranging all of those little buggers.

Compact-Cassette Stills

I want to create a collage of data storage devices to frame on a wall so I made some clean #cassette beauty renders:

Modeled with Plasticity, lit and rendered in Octane for Cinema 4D 📼

Lately I did some more MiniDisc renders for a musician that releases on the MD format.
One render I am especially proud of is the Maxell OZ-Black Disc version MD.

I just love the light play in this clear one!

Though I also love the colors ones as the Sony Color Collection.

And another animation I did for my latest tutorial. Or vise versa. Building this led to my tutorial. Where I go over Octanes Photon Tracing and caustics generation tips and tricks. youtu.be/yLcuZCPtSdQ

Hey everyone. Happy 2025 to all of you.
I make a small animation in Octane and Cinema 4D for the new Year.

I made another tutorial about putting weathered / used decals on surfaces.

I thought about places where you would see them usually. And traffic light posts came to mind. So I modeled a typical German traffic light button to put some stickers on to.

Today a nostalgic post. Though it was not wide spread in Germany (where I am from) I just love the MiniDisc. It has some really retro SciFi vibes. Also one of the few disc products that came in a cartridge. 💽

Another one of those 100frame animations I do with Blender lately to test it's mograph capabilities.

Again with the help of Geometry Nodes.

This week I made a setup with Octane and C4D. I call it "Rim-Bubbles"

I don't know any term to describe those any better, but if you see the attached video, you know what I mean 😇

Today I want to post one of my all time favorites "Meters"

I made some cool sequences for my new tutorial dealing with "ethereal" or "dreamy" product renders that you can see used more and more in CGI renderings.
This technique uses sub-frames in C4D and Octane.
