“Syndicating” your writing might be an option—publishing on your own website first, grabbing the canonical URL and then cross-posting to medium or elsewhere with the link back to your website. Medium seems to let one do this: help.medium.com/hc/en-us/art...

I’ve had this thought too! I found out that there’s a ferry from Treasure Island that seemed easy to access from Yerba buena. Perhaps one day I’ll meet someone who actually lives there.

In the same boat! There are alternatives like SyncThing that I’ve been meaning to try. Rclone recently added iCloud support so maybe that could be an option (no Advanced Data Protection support though).
On the other hand, I might as well support Obsidian because they’re awesome and pay for Sync.

I wonder if it might be a feed you follow but don't have pinned? That has happened to me a couple of times, I realized later that though I unpinned a feed and I no longer saw it on the front page, it was still lurking around.
