Ransomchat Project
@ransomch.at
Ransomware negotiations are usually not shared widely, limiting the understanding of the process. This project aims at changing that with 200+ real world anonymized chats.
Engaging with the threat actors in case of a #ransomware attack doesn't imply that the victim actually intends to pay 💡
The Abilene, TX is transparent about it: "Communication has occurred with the suspect hacking group claiming responsibility to ascertain the nature of the information taken."

Two years after its inception, ransomch.at has a new website 🍾
At its core, you'll still find a #ransomware negotiations reader.
But it's been upgraded for a more convenient reading experience 🤩

Of course, all the chat logs remain available as JSON files for integration in other projects.
