I remember one show 6teen I watched as a teen, can't even imagine myself watching it as a 32 year old. There were some shows I got more into like Regular Show. Adventure Time was a good show, but I just wasn't in that age demographic anymore.

I remember being a fan of Billy & Mandy, the Kids Next Door, the original Powerpuff Girls. But I've got no desire to watch them as a dude in my early 30s. The only Cartoon Cartoons show I still watch is Courage the Cowardly Dog.

During the new golden age Cartoon Network saw in 2010, I was pretty casual on Adventure Time and Gumball. Regular Show was the one I watched the most to consider myself a fan.

I've broadened my horizons, although majority of the adult content I consume comes from YouTube. But going back to your point on enjoying shows in your youth, but not able to stand them in adulthood, I can relate there. Shows like Cow & Chicken and Ed, Edd n Eddy, have no desire to watch them.

People are already expecting the worst because "chatty nerd character", it's insane how it's getting compared to Other M over previews.

Do hope it does well sales wise, but Metroid's always had trouble selling. Really hoping Beyond has Dread's selling energy.
