We explored Pudsey and Blush play dough and took part in our ‘Challenge 25‘ 25 minute dance!

For our cook to connect session we made some yummy cheesy vegetable cous cous. Lots of skills involved including chopping and discussions on cooker safety. We cant wait for our party next week 🎉 #cookingTogether

We had such fun celebrating with Lea ahead of her upcoming wedding. We dressed her up in a beautiful toilet paper dress, danced to so music and played with the confetti cannons. We want to wish Lea and Ross a lifetime of happiness and enjoy the day 💍

We started Nursery Rhyme Week by singing and exploring the rhyme ‘Sing a Song of Sixpence’! We listened to the rhyme during our YMI session then some of our friends created their own ‘pie’ for the king! #WorldNurseryRhymeWeek #EarlyLanguage

We used our real life experiences to role play in the POD. We took care of the babies and made a yummy dinner of pasta.

This week we created Pizza Faces at our Cook to Connect session. We chopped the vegetables, spread the sauce and sprinkled our cheese before selecting our toppings! We all enjoyed the tasty treats we made! #FunWithFood #FamilyLearning

Last night was Bonfire night and we had lots of fun showing our creativity making firework pictures. We used both books and the iPad to find out what they looked like then used our mark making and fine motor skills to create amazing, sparkly pictures! 🎆🎇

Happy Halloween 🎃 the 3-5s have had a super fun day. We loved getting our faces painted, exploring the witches gloop in the garden, carving a pumpkin, & finishing off with a spooktacular bookbug ❤️ the best memories made with our friends. ⭐️

This week we have been exploring all things Halloween in the POD. We were curious about the pumpkin and what it looked like inside then decided to decorate it using lots of colours. We went on a pumpkin hunt, read lots of spooky stories, sang spooky songs and explored using our senses.

We have had a fun day in the under 3’s suite celebrating Halloween through exploring different experiences. We really enjoyed our dance party though, monster mash is a big favourite 🎃

We have been using our senses by making potions in the garden. Using spices, adding leaves and sticks from the garden we used our imagination to make some spooky creations 🎃👻

We have been building aeroplanes with the blocks so we decided to extend our interest by visiting the airport to see the planes taking off and landing. It was so exciting to see how fast and loud they were! J: “Jet 2 plane” A: “it’s going into the blue sky” “it has wheels”
