We honor our fallen soldiers. We can also honor our flags that fall in defense of Freedom.

Mark of the Beast

My flag is out. Upside down. Many millions of non-millionaires in this country are already in deep distress: immigrants, LGBTQ+ folks, Black folks, sick folks, hungry children, women in pregnancy distress. I fly the flag for them.

My letter got published this morning in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat. It's my fourth one published since March. That's a record for me.

I learned a Mexican proverb today. "They thought they could bury us. They didn't know we were seeds."

Let's go Taco! This Saturday, June 14, Flag Day.

Um, let's see... fund the Defense Department for 6 hours less or defund PBS. 6 of one the entire whole of the other.

Make good trouble!

That must be why so many people, from the President-elect on down, avoid reading. I can hear someone I know saying, "I NEED my ignorance. It makes me who I am." And besides, if it weren't for ignorance, the President-elect would just be another also-ran.
