Was editing a text from one month ago, and found an unreasonable amount of em dashes. Seems I have unconsciously started using them more in my writing since the AI em dashes controversy started. Sounds familiar?

My most exciting discovery at Gamescom was fighting game Gods of Muay Thai, seen at the Thailand booth in the business area. I hope we’ll see more devs explore local culture in the future, instead of using ‘universal’ (read: western or Japanese) gaming tropes, almost as a default.

Landgenoten. Hoewel ik zoveel mogelijk interessante Nederlandse accounts probeer te volgen, vind ik dat Bluesky nog altijd behoorlijk Amerikaans is in de Discovery feed. Wie moet ik (ook) gaan volgen om hier wat meer balans in te krijgen? (ben die NY burgemeester race wel zat inmiddels)

Spent the weekend at a songwriting camp in Sweden. Recommend any writer to try to write with musicians, if only as an exercise. To be able to craft engaging stories and make them sing within a musical framework can be incredibly rewarding.

AI is evil post #10023 I asked for a reliable Dutch translation of the English naval phrase 'holystoning the deck' (of a ship) and the answer came down to (translated from the faulty Dutch answer) 'decking your terrace with holly in the Christmas season.'
