It really didn’t bother Rory in the slightest. He’s got a thick skin. Still he appreciates that she feels bad about it.
“I will, if I get the chance. If not I’ll certainly be there once it’s rebuilt. Just to see it with my own eyes.”

“Nothing worth it in life comes easy. Especially when it comes to glow sticks.” He says that as if it’s some kind of sage wisdom.
He isn’t bothering to try and fight his own smile. It was too absurd to even try.

I appreciate that. Gotta admit nothing but the bare essentials is a hard habit to break.
Growing it, it was thriving. Even with the Innies and UNSC trying to tear down the place. A good place to live. Not so much these days.
Now it's just glass, shipyards, factories and bad memories.
