With enough land you can still live at low margins. Not about to act like there aren't games to income numbers though, lord knows I play them.

Developers, speculators, tax dodgers, non-farm heirs holding, farmers leaving high-priced areas for relatively cheaper land. They aren't making more land, so the supply is limited. At least that's the view from across the pond.
