I had dozens of these and read them to tatters as a kid.

This is more of an unintended insult to the receiver, insinuating they are unaware of this person's body of work, than an artist zombie apocalypse warning.

Or are we riffing on the ambiguity of English, and I'm missing the joke again?

Some dark horse contenders, based on the many, many ratings I've reviewed (I built a website to visualize this kind of data).

- The Originals
- Person of Interest
- Dark
- Bosch

[based on consistently high ratings across all episodes and seasons]

Clearly not, since he posted this

...stop producing
Think I remember John having like an 812-book contract or something like that

My first was a Commodore VIC-20. Those function buttons on the right hit me right in the feels.

I typed out an entire BASIC program from the back of a magazine and, after 8.6 million syntax error fixes, got a working snake game I played for weeks until my brother turned it off (no storage).

That was my thought as well. As someone who hates cheese as much as it hates him, I don't even look at the menu. "You got street tacos? No? Okay, fajitas it is, then."

The problem with that is they're going to hear a whole bunch of leftists, and holy shit is that going to fuck up their narrative.

This is kind of surreal. Two people who are the biggest influences in my life, one in writing and one in coding.

Getting to interview Dave was the highlight of my albeit short professional writing stint.

No kidding. My first thought was, "That man needs some sheep."

I once wrote a complicated regular expression that worked on the first run while another developer was watching, and he told me he hated me.

I imagine that's a lot of writers reading this post right now.

I feel this. Ventilated full-face shield is a good investment for the bearded turner.

People will pay for tariffs buying from companies that don't get hit as well.

If their competitors' prices went from $10 to $20, you better believe a lot of them will raise their own prices to near that in order to increase profit.

Nope, I never make mistakes. Definitely never failed to pay attention to the inner/outer labels on my pieces before cutting the dovetails.
