I am a lawyer. I am not your lawyer.
Since Stranger Things is salient again, behold: the intersection of Cornwallis and Kerley, the location where Will canonically disappeared in Season 1

1. Not a Jack and Jill
2. Hallway labeled a bedroom
3. Bathroom labeled Bedroom 4
4. "Guest suite" in the middle of the dining room with no walls

What is this house?

Hilarious footnote here: yes, we are using legislative history but not *that* kind

Does anyone know what the heck is up with these signs? I have started seeing them everywhere and I am not even sure what they are selling.

These 3 hits (from yesterday) are only blocks away from my office. This intersection (Alston/Liberty and Alston/Holloway) is one of the poorest spots in the city with a consistent homeless population. Of course that's where ICE decided to show up and hassle people.

One of the common criticisms we get on solar projects is that solar is ugly. I happen to disagree, but even assuming that is true, the question should be "compared to what?" Since I happened to pass it, I took this picture of what a coal power plant looks like. Better or worse?

It is August 2019. Trump is slipping in the polls (he had peaked in March). Nobody has heard of COVID yet. There's a good chance that Trump is going to lose re-election. That means the Democrats will gain control of access to Epstein. What would Donnie do?

Some NC local coverage of last week's elections. In Wake County (home of Raleigh but also 15 other municipalities) 21 of 22 Republican candidates were defeated!

Overall thrust of the piece: even in areas that are already considered blue, there are a lot of seats Democrats can still flip.
