It’s remarkable how history sometimes aligns. Jimmy Carter’s pivotal accomplishments—establishing the Departments of Education and Energy and negotiating the Panama Canal Treaty—are even more significant when contrasted with the political climate today.

If the government shutdown this holiday, I don't see how that is his fault. I've worked with the man and he is only obsessed with progress. No one is talking about how the government was planning for an undeserved raise!!!!
