A beautiful day yesterday for Town Councillors to be shown the work going on at Gallows Hill Nature Reserve to ensure it is great for wildlife and great for people.

Good to have worked with Town Council and City Council colleagues to get investment into Otley's play parks. Thanks to Friends of Weston Play Park and the Caxton Park Community Group for their support.

The New Homes (Solar Generation) Bill introduced by Liberal Democrat Max Wilkinson would require all new homes to have solar panels as standard. It has been rejected by the government on the grounds that it will reduce the supply of new homes. Surely we should be finding a way....
