Finally read the paper and 100% agree to all of this. It’s Manksi suggesting pollsters use the Manski bounds (shocking) which are useless in the polling context!

Zoom option also benefits students who can’t physically attend a class for other reasons thus increasing accessibility. It’ll be my forever option too! (And when I did it in Autumn I still had excellent in class attendance which I know is a concern for some instructors.)

Also this, I want to shout this from the rooftops, perfectly said: “Experience says that [the sample size you can afford] is almost always less than the sample size we'd want to fully meet our scientific goals. And that's ok, but let's not fool ourselves about the reality of the situation.”

I agree - MNAR is soooooooooo much better than NMAR. Rod’s been making that swap for a long time, well before the latest edition of the book.
