so, with 2025 coming to a close, here are some plans/resolutions i have for 2026 in this thread:

well Christmas happened.
it was alright ig. nothing major, just a hop on, hop off. only substantial thing that happened was me planning out my New Year plans, smth i'll be discussing on the eve of the New Year.

just tried out Clover Pit today, i think i unlocked a new obsession. it's really fun and addictive, and while a run can end poorly due to bad luck, nothing can stop the unwavering thrill of pulling the lever one more time.

hmm i should probably try re-drawing that sketch of Ori now that i am more experienced. but at the same time, i don't normally draw other people's characters because of my general disinterest in total accuracy.

been replaying OFF recently, and i gotta say, despite some of its flaws, it still holds up remarkably well. great characters, interesting art, and a fascinating story that is never completely explained. it's a seminal work that helped bring us incredible works like Undertale.

so, unfortunate news: somehow, i accidentally deleted my videos folder, which included some of the newer Silksong VODs along with a video i was editing, with plans to post said edited video onto YouTube. that video was going to be the playthrough i did of Butcher's Creek.

after 100% completing Silksong, i can confidently say this is my favorite game this year. i think this year was really good for indie games in general: Blue Prince, Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4, Silksong, the remake of OFF, the full release of Hades 2, and way too many more to list here.
