I mean, I get wanting more control over the franchise you made, but why not just give tips and notes, and let an actual writer do their job? I swear that at this point he keeps adding more plot elements just for theory fodder, which doesn't work because MatPat retired!

Even though death is one of the main elements of the franchise? I think it's that Scott just isn't a screenwriter. They got an actual screenwriter for the first movie, but in the sequel he did it all himself

That and the Graphic Novels suck too since they cut out large portions of the story so all the "character development" is gone, the character designs are almost completely different, and the art is UGLY

Also something that confuses me about the books is that Michael isn't even so much as MENTIONED. Sure there's a kid named Michael that possesses Golden Freddy, but they're not the same person. Hell, the ONLY night guard seen in the ENTIRE TRILOGY is William under the fake name of Dave Miller

I remember reading the books as a teen and I thought they were some of the worst things I ever read, to the point where as a teen I ended up writing my own alternate universe fanfiction in my highschool notebooks with really cringey dialogue you'd expect from a teen
