The average consumer’s car won’t be needed during the workday so it won’t actually pay for itself… especially if everyone’s car is available.. self driving cars won’t pay for themselves any better than electric cars have saved gas money without subsidies.

The average consumer’s car or way of doing something isn’t good enough for them to rent out to any other person. Especially when you are paying for a service.🧵

Why does Musk think it’s OK to test his technology on the public’s lives when everyone else (of which there are many farther along) followed the rules and proved safety first.

My safety shouldn’t be at risk because he wants to make a name for himself before he dies.

I’d be happy to pay 5 or ten bucks a month subscription for a family and friends only social media platform that doesn’t harvest my data for use other than me conversing with my family and friends. Me thinks Apple might be setting up for such a thing in a few years with Journals. 🧵

If we green light this then we need to do the same for appointed officials. A handful of them pitch their recent usefulness each week and the public calls in to vote on who stays vs who Trump needs to reappoint.

Congress isn’t vetting them so let the public.
