To be clear, these inconveniences were things like "treating other people with respect" and whatever else gets lumped under the now-co-opted term "woke".

Now that there is actual, demonstrable oppression occurring against liberals and minorities, these people have been primed to believe that's simply the scrip being flipped, when in reality it is in no way comparable to the mere inconveniences they were tricked into believing was oppression.

The supposed "oppression" these people experienced under democratic administrations was a fiction presented to them by right-wing media, where they could live a fantasy of being the plucky underdog against an authoritarian regime, while knowing full well that they experienced no real threat.

The interpretation that it's there to somehow permit the overthrow of a tyrannical government is just that, an interpretation. Unfortunately, as you have rightly observed, the people who have previously subscribed to this interpretation are now most likely supporting ICE's current lawless actions.

The 2nd amendment to our constitution is actually very vague IMO. It states that the reason for allowing citizens to bear arms is that a "well-regulated militia" is necessary for a free state. It does not specify anything about what constitutes a militia, and how it should be regulated. 1/2

It's whatever system makes sense for the application. Even within aerospace, things are inconsistent. Locations on an aircraft are usually denoted with an X-aft, Y-right, Z-up system (I have also seen Y-aft, X-left, Z-up), with coordinates referred to as station-lines, butt-lines and water-lines.

Reason 3, Headings: For navigation, north is given a heading of 0 or 360 degrees; east 90 degrees, south 180, and west 270. This is a clockwise rotation when viewed from above, so for a standard right-hand rotation the Z-axis should point down. X is aligned with north and Y with east.

Reason 2, Linear Velocities: Angle of attack is positive if the nose of the aircraft is pointed slightly above the velocity vector (which is typical). With this convention, the dominant body-axis velocity component will be positive X with a small amount of positive Z component.

There are several reasons. For an aircraft, the convention is X-forward (out the nose), Y-right, Z-down. Reason 1, rotations: Positive roll (right wing down) is a right-hand X rotation, positive pitch (nose-up) is a Y-rotation, and positive yaw (nose right) is a Z-rotation.

I reject the premise. It should be Vector3.up = (0,0,-1). Sincerely, a flight dynamicist

Here's what Fusion does. The result is equivalent to applying the fillet to the outside edges first, and then applying it to the inside edge.

It depends on how you design the interface. While I hate Mathworks with a passion, Simulink actually does this quite well. You can click and drag on the right side of a go-to block to quickly create a corresponding "from" block. Using these is standard practice in my industry.

For control law design, we'll use "go-to" and "from" blocks to keep things tidy. It's very similar to your "wifi scopes" idea. Once you get used to it, it's hard to go back. I really wish Blender had them.

I really wish I could switch to Linux as well. However, I'm a paying Fusion360 user, and that doesn't work on Linux. I'm a big advocate for open source software when practical, but unfortunately FreeCAD just isn't there yet. And while I love Blender to bits, it's not CAD.

Speaking as a US citizen, I honestly see no compelling reason for any foreigners to visit right now. It's unfortunate, but true. The US is simply not a safe place right now, especially for people who aren't straight white christian cis men.

I'm an aeronautical engineer working in flight dynamics. I have yet to find a game engine that supports the true and correct axis orientation: X-forward, Y-right, Z-down. If I want to do flight dynamics in any game engine, I will inevitably commit what I consider to be crimes against convention.

It's true! A sovol broke into my house and destroyed my Voron. They need to be stopped!

The fact that he's eating and drinking and using the litter box is a good sign. Still might want to consider a vet visit if things persist for a couple days. Speaking from experience, cats often don't give you much warning until it's too late, so it's good to be vigilant.

There is so little that *can* be done at this point. Radical right-wing groups (namely the federalist society and heritage foundation) have been working for a long time to get us to this point. Now that the judiciary has largely been captured, they are free to do what they want. Shit's scary.
