We are no longer the United States of America..

Under this regime, we have become the American Confederacy.

They were also known for surveillance, picking people off the street and holding with no due process, deportation to camps…

All things these guys have already done.

You can choose not to see the similarities, but ill stay on the right side of history thanks.

Secret police combining many organizations.

Umm, masked, some uniformed some not (sounds like many orgs and we don’t know who they are) = secret, yes?

Their tactics are for the primary purpose to create fear, so people will cower to their authority.

I don’t see any difference.

What’s false about that statement?
June 8, 2025 at 7:44 PM
So was the gestapo.

What’s your point

i'm sorry, the local school board does not pay $275M to buy a president.

so where do I bet on whether Tomlin loses his job by 26?
June 5, 2025 at 8:31 PM
Now do research into TX: Teacher's Experience.... meaning, show the correlation between teachers feeling disolutioned by the low pay/and on the job environment with kids feeling disolutioned, SPECIFICALLY in early childhood education.

My bet is there's a pretty close to 1:1 correlation.

stupid ass take.

SS is not why our credit rating is in the tank. Trump 1.0 increased the deficit by 75% (none cuz of SS). Biden increased the deficit (not cuz SS).

Trump wants to raise the deficit another $5T (not to give to SS).

Try again

we need to stop assuming this is an intelligence issue. This is why we lost.

It is a FAITH issue... people make decisions with their emotions, then they try to rationalize it with logic, with sparse facts provided by folks like Fox News.
May 5, 2025 at 12:34 PM
It’s not about intelligence.

It’s about beliefs.

We need to stop underestimating trump’s ability to move his cult followers simply because of faith.

This means facts or education won’t fix our problems.

This is the beginning of austerity talk. This is what they are thinking the new normal

Unelected bureaucrats running this country
April 30, 2025 at 3:04 AM
So… it is the fault of unelected beaurocrats…

Didn’t they run on a platform that was AGAINST control by unelected bureaucrats?

Desantis’s are as corrupt as the rest of them. Ask them about the $10mm charity funds
April 27, 2025 at 6:57 PM
You can choose not to believe me. That’s fine.

My last rec tho is to find some other sources to trust.

If you think AI is the same as nft’s, it’s clear you don’t understand either.
April 24, 2025 at 3:54 PM
To be clear, my post point out that blindly trusting LLMs is diametrically opposed to my recommendations.

It is a potentially powerful tool. At the moment responsible use is completely in the hands of the user. Treat it accordingly.
April 24, 2025 at 3:34 PM
I have 35 years in tech, and understanding that LLM's are nothing more than a prediction engine trained by history.

The potential for this technology is scary, because Humans as a race are not good at slowing down. And that is why it won't stop. So the best thing is to understand and guide
April 24, 2025 at 1:46 PM
guess I'm unfamiliar with what NFT's would ever have done for me. I see the potential tech capabilities of the 2 vastly different.
April 24, 2025 at 1:40 PM
NFT's were supposed to have market value, but they performed no function. LLMs will DO things for people.

The value proposition is dramatically different with AI, this is why it will be different.
April 24, 2025 at 1:30 PM
Agree. Some humans are born creative and will ALWAYS be creative. In my experience, most others are creative, but will subdue that if they are told to follow the rules... that may now start to come from AI (by definition, a historical context). Its hard to untrain these type of rules.

BUT:: Cats out of the bag and there's no putting it back.

So the question becomes how to lay down the guardrails in a way we can drive maximum productivity/privacy for the people.
April 24, 2025 at 1:19 PM
well I've been in a tech field for 35 years.

The same was said for the Internet when it was in its infancy. I share your fear of surveillance. Govt/BigTech ALREADY doing that.

I'm no fan of the COMPANIES that are driving the tech, and their motives.
