Alex: is a nonbinary immortal who also has magic (don't worry not everyone in this story will have magic) who has no tolerance for bad attitude... you treat them with respect and listen to them or else

Raven: is a numb lesbian human wih magic (it's mostly small stuff like seeing tragedies and not being able to prevent them) who is suffering from the loss of her lover... and everything else she has been through... it is unclear how old she is or if she's even mortal
