Hey guys guess who made a friend just now. Little dude was wet and kinda stuck on the ground. I got em to hop on a stick and then it flew to me. It stayed for a bit and I got these pics. This is prolly the closest I'm gonna get to a selfie on here. I hope you guys are having a good day.

Hey, look, pretty pictures that are definitely not hiding a long assed rant. In all seriousness, I wasn't comfortable with dumping an essay on here, so I hid it in the alt text. It's just rant in there. Be warned it's long af & not fun subjects. I hid it in 3 pictures ffs. Goodnight and good dreams.

Took these on the way home earlier. With the time change and no school I've been getting home as the sun sets. I've missed sunsets but I still don't have the stones to walk around in the dark. This is a good middle ground. Hope you guys have a good night.

Since shit sucks rn I'm sharing the best piece from the Purple Earth series. As well as a fun accident of the whole series. All of them turn normal when flipped to negative. I found 1 study that said the sky was probably orange for the same reason everything was purple. That was enough for me. #art

Took this this morning. I liked the way the rain looked on the web. Didn't get to walking till super late for me. There were 2 other people loony enough to be in that rain. I met 1. We lol'd over how wet it was and our solutions. Hope you guys had a dry day and restful evening.

I'm officially ready for Halloween!! I'm tempted to try and see if I have a bright blue ribbon or some shiny beads but that might be overkill. Best part I can just wear my normal clothes Imao.

This is another color+charcoal test. Finished just before the end of last year. I couldn't find the right stove to base this off of so I winged it. IIRC the lore on this one is it's a friendly(ish) spirit that lives in and off of fire. One must keep it fed if it moves into your fire.

Not feeling spooky today, so have a piece from the purple earth series. Apparently some odd billion years ago life was purple. I know that plants/trees/flowers all came much later but creative liberty. This thing also still drops salt. That's why the trees look like that. It was a fun test. #art

This was supposed to be a color+charcoal test that turned into a comedy of errors I was happy to be done with. I was going for anicent Greek pot, and got this. This looked way different in my head. Great learning experience for the redraw though. #art

This whole piece was full of tests. It was a paper test (fail). It was a pose test (it's ok). Also a body type test (pass). I actually have 2 more monsters with the same body type. Kinda became a go to lol. The face is my favorite part. No lore, I just wanted something reptilian w/pointy teeth #art

Today's monster falls into a very specific category, monsters I saw in a dream. It towered over me and talked alot of shit. The original I hadn't figured out how to depict the neck like in the 2nd. There's about 2 1/2 years between them. This monster is definitely a favorite. #art

Today's monster was drawn more recently. I call this one Finals. This is actually the 3rd version where I finally captured that essence of something gleefully smirking at my anxiety from the dark. Tests freak me out. Also I'd recently read about that shark with the sawblade in it's jaw. #art

The only question around this one was can I paint. I painted this free hand in one sitting. Not super spooky imo but we're on our way to a pumpkin patch up north so it seemed fitting. Don't forget to take breaks, drink water, and find one small joy in the day. #art

This was one of my early attempts at a monster. My kid used to stare at the celling as a baby the same way cats stare in empty corners. One time in the middle of the night I had the thought what if there's something I can't see up there. Yes I did scare the crap out of myself. Still a fav tho. #art
