Wife got us Disney+... After the excellent 'Alien Romulus' I now started watching 'Alien Earth'. First episode brought back some Nostromo deja vu, a little 'Altered Carbon' and a solar system governed by evil companies. A space ship full of monsters crashes into oneof Earth's mega cities... #filmsky

With beginning winter season in Westphalia sadly bike commuting comes to a pause. Started a new audio book while driving. John Lee narrating Peter F. Hamilton is excellent to get through the dark months. Also curious about the game "Exodus" - hope it is worthy of "Mass Effect" legacy.

I am a huge Street Fighter II and IV veteran. Played the games since childhood. With Alpha you really first noticed the series going in a more complex direction. Never understood Street Fighter III. I was glad IV was based on II's system. However, never liked the art style of V and VI. Anime ftw!

Princess Zelda on the other hand: Excellent, tragic character. We've never met Zelda before as we do in BotW, fragile but resourceful. Now I am curious how 'Tears of the Kingdom' picks up the story as it ended resolved. Might wait for BotW DLC to go on sale before. Anybody knows whether it is good?

This weekend daughter and I finished the main quest of 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' NS2E.✌️130h, 5mo, excellent game. Magic The Gathering right now. Sadly, I have to agree. It's going Lego direction, but leaving OG players dissatisfied. I never saw Avatar. Most sets (Universes Beyond) don't mean anything to me anymore. @maro254.bsky.social

Today I learned 'Make America Great Again' translates into bulldozing the White House. It's a mad world.
Finally finished Bradbury's 100 short stories, which occupied most of my 2025. Some good ones in here. Next are two sure (and shorter) bets: 'Cujo', an early King I yet miss and the next Reacher book, 'Persuader'. Season 3 of the excellent show is based on this one.
