The USSF thought the youth money train would never end so they didn’t care about how kids and parents were treated. The fractured state of US youth soccer killed itself.

The sport is dying in the US due to the declining birth rate of the suburbs. The rise of soccer of the 2000a and 2010s was due to Gen X having kids. That wave is over and the kids and parents were disenfranchise by the way they were treated by the youth leagues.
