Also, i don’t thing either are superior operating systems to one another. Microsoft does some bullshit, but the operating system is well supported by most hardware and software. Linux is more open, and you have more control, but support isn’t as good and there are some problems with how things work.

Although, if an app that you need is not located in flathub or your distributions repository, you will likely need to go to github or gitab or whatever and find it there. But, with some distro’s large repositories like fedora’s, it probably won’t be a problem for most people.

-t perfect. There still will be instances where the command line is necessary, but many modern desktop environments include an application store for downloading software, which usually downloads from a distro’s repositories or flathub (a repo of flatpaks, which is a way of packaging applications).

Another problem it has is accessibility. Which maybe used to be a bigger problem than software support, but recently, things have been getting much better. -ly the proprietary software is the issue. It’s not a shitty operating system, it’s just poorly supported by a lot of the software people use. Things have improved, open-source alternatives are getting better, and slowly, other problems are getting addressed.
