No, but one of my friends suggested that they simply blocked the :53 port and that seems like the most likely answer. Since the new DNS I'm using is probably on a different port.

I'm probably not going to be able to update my laptop often. Unless if I feel like keeping up a cat-and-mouse game whenever they decide to block the new DNS I'm using.
